Lesson 1
Sufism is not a religion.
But like all true paths, some of its followers will always misunderstand and try to make a religion out of it.
Sufism is an initiating path in which the initiator provides a link to the Masters who have passed before. The initiate, called a mureed begins a set of disciplines or practices assigned by his or her initiator.
